Friendly Fill-Ins Week 148

Friendly Fill-Ins Week 148

I again participate in the Friendly Fill-Ins, hosted by Four-LeggedFurballs and 15andmeowing. So here we go:
1. I could live on potatoes! There are so many yummy possibilities to prepare them!
2. I rarely yell at other people, but when I do, be prepared for a thunderstorm.
3. I would most like to be known for the soft spot in my heart reserved for animals in need.

4. If you want love, you have to give it to others first.

Friendly Fill-Ins Week 147

I again participate in the Friendly Fill-Ins, hosted by Four-LeggedFurballs and 15andmeowing. So here we go:
1. I am always trying to make every member of my pack happy.

2. I brake for everything and try not to run any living creature over. Because I would be very thankful when somebody braked for me if the situation was reversed.

3. I’d be lying if I said my life is easy. But it is the only life I have, so I try to make the best of it.

4. Always getting up one more time than you fall down wins the race.

Friendly Fill-Ins Week 146

Friendly Fill-Ins Week 146

I again participate in the Friendly Fill-Ins, hosted by Four-LeggedFurballs and 15andmeowing. So here we go:
1. My favorite kind of music is dependent on my mood. I grew up in the Seventies and Eighties with lots of pop and rock music, and this will do fine for most days. I also like classic music, because my parents listened to this frequently and I learned to play the flute.

2. I don’t believe that social media per se makes people lonely, because it gave me so much valuable insight into other people’s lifes. It’s all about keeping a good balance between online and offline.

3. My ideal day starts with a long walk with our dogs, especially if my husband can join us.
4. Don’t let other people stop you from doing what feels right for you. Listen carefully, but don’t let them make decisions for your life.

Friendly Fill-Ins Week 145

I again participate in the Friendly Fill-Ins, hosted by Four-LeggedFurballs and 15andmeowing. So here we go:

1. I believe everything we do comes back to us. So we better do good things 🙂 .
2. I need to go Marie Kondo on my negative thoughts. But years of practice are hard to let go *sigh*.
3. It does no good to hate other people for what they have or haven’t done in the past. It doesn’t change anything, and life doesn’t become any better by clinging to hate (I am not perfect in this, but I am trying).

4. I find cuddling with our furbabies to be a walk in the park. I am glad for that, because there were times when even this was too much!

Friendly Fill-Ins Week 144

Friendly Fill-Ins Week 144

I again participate in the Friendly Fill-Ins, hosted by Four-LeggedFurballs and 15andmeowing. So here we go:
1. If it wasn’t for my parents, I wouldn’t have learned to cope so well with many of my issues.
2. Thinking things through before I have to make a difficult decision always helps me.
3. Texting or mailing is my preferred method of communication. It makes things easier for me, because I don’t hear so well. SMS, WhatsApp and emails definitely were made for me!
4. You can’t buy a good character. That’s something everybody has to create for oneself.

Friendly Fill-Ins Week 143

Friendly Fill-Ins Week 143

I again participate in the Friendly Fill-Ins, hosted by Four-LeggedFurballs and 15andmeowing. So here we go:
1. I want to make progress every day. Sometimes I succeed, sometimes I don’t. But I want to keep on trying!
2. My fingernails are short. This may not look stylish, but they break very easily.
3. A day in my life always includes taking care of others – mostly my husband and our pets. It’s so different from the life I had five years ago, but also full of love and rewarding.

4. Good things happen to those who keep an open mind.

Friendly Fill-Ins Week 142

Friendly Fill-Ins Week 142

I again participate in the Friendly Fill-Ins, hosted by Four-LeggedFurballs and 15andmeowing. So here we go:

1. Superbowl Sunday gets more and more popular here in Germany as well. But I never have seen it, because it happens at night (Central European Time).

2. Spending times in waiting rooms bores me. I always take my tablet with me, so I can at least read what I like.

3. If you have a home full of loving humans and pets, you have everything.

4. My skill set could get me a job at every household where a helping hand is needed. I have become quite good at organizing.
