Feline Friday #48 | Friendly Fill-Ins

Feline Friday #48 | Friendly Fill-Ins

It’s time for Feline Friday, hosted by Comedy Plus!

When we took in Sammy (picture above) we didn’t know how much this little ball of fur would change our life. My sister in law told us there were kitties on a farm that needed a new home very quickly, because the farmer wanted to get rid of them and throw them into the next river. To be honest, I didn’t want a second cat at this time. But of course, we wanted to help. And then I saw this black and white kitty, the weekest and smallest of four, and I fell in love. She fiercely loved me back for the whole eighteen years she was with us, and I hope I never forget the many happy moments we shared. Sammy always allowed me to share the most intimate moments of her life with her, even her death. And of course she gave us Jackie (picture below). I now I already have said it many times, but “Adopt don’t shop” can bring so much happiness!

Friendly Fill-Ins

I again participate in the Friendly Fill-Ins, hosted by Four-LeggedFurballs and 15andmeowing. So here we go:

1. I do nothing special on Memorial Day, because it’s not celebrated here.

2. I try to avoid people with negative energy. I don’t want to waste my precious time with them.

3. If I had a catchphrase, it would be “Don’t give up!”.
4. My husband and our furbabies motivate(s) me to work hard.

  1. Sammy was a good looking kitty. I agree about adopting. I’ve never bought a pup or a cat. They have been the best and they needed us the most.

I love all your fill-ins. I can so relate.

Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. ♥

  3. What a beautiful feline family you have. I had a childhood black and white cat named Sammy. Mine was a he, and he was such a wonderful and patient cat. I was 4 years old when my parents adopted him, and he was so tolerant of my childish fun and games. And thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! “Don’t give up.” What a perfect catchphrase. Have a beautiful weekend!

    1. What a wonderful companion to grow up with! We lived in a big city in a appartement, so I was allowed to have only hamsters and parakeets. Have a wonderful Sunday!
