Feline Friday #45 | Friendly Fill-Ins

Thought a lot about my heart cat Sammy this week, who left us for the Rainbow Bridge in September 2017. She was such a gentle, loving cat, who loved to sleep near the wood-burning stove like in the picture above. I am so sure my furry companions have a soul as well, and that they deserve to be treated with respect and love. Sammy may not be here anymore, but she left me the gift of her love, and I am allowed to keep this forever.

Friendly Fill-Ins

I again participate in the Friendly Fill-Ins, hosted by Four-LeggedFurballs and 15andmeowing. So here we go:

1. 13 years ago, I watched the many tourists who had come to my home town to see the soccer world championship. It was wonderful to see people from so many different countries getting along so well and having a good time.
2. By this time next year, I hope to be as healthy as I can be, body and mind.
3. One word that describes me is cautious. Life taught me things can change very quickly.
4. If my life were a book or movie, it would be in the dramedy genre. Tragic elements, but funny events as well. Nothing beats having a good laugh!

  1. Sammy was beautiful. I believe they have souls too. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. That must have been fun having so many people in your town. Have a nice weekend! XO

  2. Sammy looks so sweet curled up there! Yes, they have souls and will meet up with us again someday! ♥️

I have also learned to be more cautious in life, I have often been too trusting.

You have a positive attitude about the future, that’s awesome! You have done hard work to come this far! Xo

  3. Our Female Human often thinks about our Angels Miss P and Buster. She says that the felines in her life leave forever paw prints on her heart.

    1. I am glad there are some comic elements in my life as well… Laughing often is a very good medicine.
And yes, our furry companions always leave something behind for us to keep. I think this is so comforting.
