Feline Friday #42 | Friendly Fill-Ins Week 152

Feline Friday #42 | Friendly Fill-Ins Week 152

Sometimes, we catch Jackie lying on the fish tank. Maybe she likes it, because the light in the top of the fish tank radiates warmth. Anyway, we don’t like her hanging around there, because she mistook the aquarium for her litter box in the past… Getting everything clean again was no fun. And of course Jackie didn’t help us, what is the human staff for anyway?

Well, my husband changed the lights, and the new LED lights don’t get warm, so we hope Jackie doesn’t want to spent time on the fish tank anymore. We’ll see. It’s impossible to have an eye on this cat all the time, she is way too clever!

Friendly Fill-Ins Week 152

I again participate in the Friendly Fill-Ins, hosted by Four-LeggedFurballs and 15andmeowing. So here we go:

1. I used to be able to belly dance, but I no longer can. Darn back!
2. I just can’t seem to be able to focus for more than half an hour. This sucks big time. Things like our tax decleration take so much longer now.
3. I’m notorious for my quick mood changes (yes, I’m a Gemini 🙂 ).

4. There’s no use crying over things I can’t have. Everybody longs for something, so I try to focus on what I already have instead.

  1. Aww, cats are pretty clever when it comes to finding a warmed up spot to lie on. My cat lies behind the glass door in the dining room when it’s sunny to catch the warmed up square of carpet. It made me chuckle that she used the tank to do her business once! Obviously not funny for you at the time though..! I never knew you used to belly dance, did you do it as part of a group/dance class..?
I hope you’re having a restful weekend xx

  2. It is a good thing to focus more on what we have than what we don’t have. It makes some things easier to bear.

My mood can change very quickly, too. I’m a Leo. 🙂 Hey, it keeps people on their toes. haha

I think belly dancing could be lots of fun, but my dancing days are long gone.

I hope that all is well with you, Viola. Have a blessed week. 🙂

      1. So, you were a preemie, too, eh? I was born a month early. My mama was out for a walk with her also-pregnant sister and Mama fell into a hole. That caused her to go into labor and have me earlier than planned. I gave my mama an exciting birth story just as she gave her own mama, though I think what she did to her mama was way scarier.
Do you know what made you be born so early?
        Have a blessed weekend. 🙂

      2. My parents moved to their first appartment shortly before I was born, maybe I didn’t like the stress. My mother was shocked, because so far she had a wonderful pregnancy. But falling into a hole, that’s rather dramatic, and I am glad both of you survived.

  3. I’m sorry I’m yet again so late to visit! The kitties here also love sleeping on top of the fish aquarium. They like the warmth, and also try to steal food when I’m feeding the fish. And thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! Belly dancing has always really intrigued me, but I certainly have no skills in it. And your sentiment in #4 is so true, and more people need to keep that in mind. Have a wonderful day!
