- It was another quiet week, and I enjoyed this very much.
- Because I had time on my hands, I did grocery shopping in different stores than usual. This was a nice change.
- I had fun making yogurt and bread without being in a hurry. Homemade things add to the cozy atmosphere at our home.
- Our relaxation group was cancelled on Thursday. First I felt sad, but then I enjoyed having more time with my husband.
- My parents returned from their holiday in Spain in a very good mood. It’s great that they had such a wonderful time.
- My mother in law invited us all (her children and their spouses) for Easter. I told her not to count me in, because I don’t know if I am going to be up to it. It felt good to be honest and not to postpone this argument for later.
- It’s my tenth depri-vary. Of course I am sad that this war inside my head has been going on for such a long time now. On the other hand I am still alive, and I have a great safety net. This is something to be grateful for.
- My decluttering project went on in the kitchen, I sorted out everything that might have gone bad. This was overdue, and now there is so much more space again in the cupboards.
- Yesterday my husband took Janet fishing, while I had a long, leisurely walk with our other dog, Sam. We both enjoyed it, and it was good to be able to concentrate on just one dog.
- The cherry tree in our garden is in full bloom now. It’s so wonderful to watch. Once more winter had to surrender to spring. It never ceases to amaze me!
A beautiful list, i am glad you are able to tell your MIL about your hesitation, i hope she accepts it and that it’s not personal or about her.

MIL and me had a talk last summer, in which I explained to her that it’s not about her if I decline an invitation. It helped her a lot to know this, because she would like to have all of her children around.

Sounds like you’ve had a very good week. You’re so positive and that’s a good thing. You’re in control and that’s even better.
Have a fabulous day and week, my friend. ♥

Thanks. Being positive helps so much with leading a happy life. I am not always in a good mood, but I try to get back to it as fast as I can.

Being honest with those around me was something I learned the hard way. But it makes life so much easier for both sides.

good deal speaking to MIL now… (I know, speaking for myself, I’d spend between now and then trying to actually do it and, think of how much unnecessary stress we endure when we put things off)
well done!
Good TToT as always
(We’ve always only had one dog, at a time, love the idea of a dog having alone time with one human while the other enjoys the day with the human. cool)

The fruit trees aren’t blooming here quite yet (which is probably good because we have the possibility of snow this weekend). However, it is supposed to be close to 70 degrees tomorrow, and I noticed a daffodil blooming in my yard yesterday, and I love the signs of spring!

A nice change, a cozy atmosphere, more time with your husband, a long leisurely walk with the dog, and a cherry tree in bloom—makes for a great week.
How nice that you are able to see all those positive things and that you have a great safety net.
