So I proudly join the TToT-community again. Let’s see what I can contribute:
- This week was quiet and peaceful, just what I needed. My energy levels got up, and I felt really good most of the time.
- Because of this, I got more things done. Our fridge hasn’t been cleaned for months, but now it sparkles again.
- We got a new dryer. It works wonderfully, and I got used to it immediately!
- Our washer and dryer are in a utility room in the basement. This room was pure chaos. I am not finished, but after cleaning and rearranging for two hours, it looks so much better.
- Cleaning the utility room helped me to realize how much better I am now, compared to the two years before. When I was really bad, we had to hire someone to clean our house once a week. Now I am mostly able to do this myself, and this makes me feel proud. I finally put away the things our cleaning lady used, and I hope they will stay there for good.
- On Sunday, my husband and his brother went fishing early in the morning. I woke up later, realized I had really nothing to do, had a wonderful long breakfast and went out with our dogs. On this walk I noticed all the little signs spring is really coming. It was wonderful.
- After they finished fishing, my husband and his brother came to our house. They were in a good mood, because they caught some trouts. We all sat in the living room and talked for two hours. It was very relaxing.
- My parents left for a two week vacation to Andalusia (Spain). So far they are having a great time, and I am so happy for them.
- Went to the dentist to have my teeth cleaned and checked. Everything is alright, and that’s a very good thing.
- Bought some daffodils for our living room. They are so bright, they light up the whole room. Like tulips, they are a very welcome sign for spring.
You’ve had a wonderful week. Getting things done is a very wonderful thing. It does give one a sense of pride.
Have a fabulous thankful week ahead, my friend. ♥

It took me years to realize it’s ok to be proud of myself as well.
Have a wonderful week!

That’s great. I am sometimes very reluctant to post my list, because mostly nothing big happened. But to find joy in the small things is key to happiness in my opinion.

I like the ‘rearranging and straightening out’ a room more than cleaning… it’s the kind of thing that you, like, see and it stays fun (a lot longer than just cleaning…lol)
Sounds like a good weekend, but then, there was a dog there (lol)… they are very much perfect companions.

Rearranging the utility room made me feel in control, and that’s a good thing.
And yes, dogs are indeed perfect companions. I enjoy our daily walks so much!

Having a quiet peaceful week in which to do a little cleaning and rearranging when you actually had the energy to do those things makes for a great week. Topping off the week with some daffodils to bring a bit of cheer into your home is perfect. I hope you will see even more signs of spring this coming week.

The weather forecast says we will have much sun in the next days, and the winter coats are becoming too warm, even in the morning. Spring surely is on it’s way!

Thanks! Yes, the dryer is a great help for me, because I can wash, dry and put the laundry away in one day.
