I again participate in the Friendly Fill-Ins, hosted by Four-Legged Furballs and 15andmeowing So here we go:
1.Happiness is being at home, a place full of quietness and love.
2. Ten years ago, I had to admit to myself that my mental health was going really downhill.
3. Love, mixed with humor is the best medicine.
4. Most people don’t know that I am struggling very much, I mostly try to hide it.
Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, nice answers except I am sorry you are struggling.I hope you have a nice weekend.

I’m sorry that you’re struggling. I understand what you mean about hiding the struggles. So often, no one wants to hear the truth. They want to ask, “How are you?”, but don’t really want the answer, so we keep it to ourselves. That is unfortunate. You’re in my prayers as you deal with the things you have to deal with. {{{Hugs}}} Have a blessed weekend.

I agree with you on number one and number three. It takes great courage to admit to yourself and that you are not doing ok, and to seek help regain control of your life. I think your #4 answer is true for very many of us. We all put our best face forward in public life and sometimes on our blogs, even when inside we can be really struggling. That’s why I’ve learned to be much more compassionate, we never know what someone else is really going thru. KIndness is always the answer, give them room to share when they feel like they can and want to!

Being compassionate toward other people is such a wonderful character trait. As you say, we often see just the tip of the iceberg.
