Friendly Fill-Ins Week 102

Friendly Fill-Ins Week 102

It’s Friday and I again participate in the Friendly Fill-Ins, hosted by McGuffy’s Reader and 15andmeowing So here we go:

1. New smartphones are wonderful, but it always takes me a few hours to adjust everything to my liking.

2. I love to live on the countryside. Watching the nature go through the seasons has a very calming effect on me.

3. When I was a child, I loved to play outside. The weather wasn’t important for me. This surely was good for my immune system, I rarely fell ill. My poor mother always had a lot of dirty laundry, that’s for sure!

4. One day in May, I will be one year older. I hope the weather will be as nice as it is today. I love having my birthday in May, when everything is in full bloom and prepares for summer.

  1. It always takes a lot of effort to get a new smartphone set up like you want it and learn all the new tricks it comes with, but they are so fun once you get it done! I wouldn’t give up mine for anything!

You are blessed to live in the countryside, it is so much more peaceful than a noisy city with everything busy. A childhood spent playing outside is healthy, I wish more parents realized that today and shut off those electronics and encouraged their children to use their imaginations and enjoy some fresh air!

What day in May is your birthday? I love birthdays, I always celebrate another that I survived and now I celebrate being blessed with a good and happy life too! XO

    1. The daughter of my friend is a tomboy and loves playing in the mud, so being outside still has much to offer for children.
My birthday will be on May, 28th, the same day as australian singer/performer Kylie Minogue. Figures 🙂

  2. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. It would take me more than a few hours, more like weeks to figure out a smart phone. I hope you have a great weekend! XO
